Gloriously Perfect

by Brenda Surin

I am a sweet spice

crush me

my scent grows stronger

I am a oak tree

cut my branches

my roots go deeper

I am an eagle feather

toss me to the wind

I fly higher

I am a flowing river

dam me up

still waters I become

I can not be broken …

I am gloriously perfect!
